"Tips for Choosing Book Editing Services"

Hi all,

I’m about to finish the first draft of my book, and I’m looking for reliable editing services. There are so many options online, and I’m overwhelmed.

Has anyone used Barter. Books Publishers for top Book Editing services? They seem to offer comprehensive services, but I’d like to know how thorough and timely they are.

Also, should I go for developmental editing first, or can I jump straight to copyediting? Any suggestions or experiences would be appreciated.
